West
Coast Bank donates computers
to Forest Grove
Senior Center
FOREST GROVE, Ore., March 25, 2004
-- West Coast Bank (NASDAQ:WCBO)
has donated computers, monitors and keyboards to the remodeled Forest
Grove Senior Center at 2037 Douglas Street. The new computer lab will be
dedicated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 30, 1:30 p.m.
The bank is a certified elder friendly
business and Branch Manager Wanda Frazier, an advocate for seniors, will
help develop classes to introduce Senior Center members to email,
Internet, Word and Excel.
Forest Grove Senior Center Executive
Director Lucy Warren said, "The information age is here, and we don't
want any senior left behind. Thanks to West Coast Bank's generous
donation, the Senior Center can provide a non-threatening, comfortable
place to learn to use a computer. We're able to open our computer lab
fully equipped, and offer classes and computer time to our members now,
rather than next year."
